Position: Audiobook QA Expert English (US)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20$25/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks in English for naturalness accuracy and enjoyment.
• Identify and log errors in synthesized speech including skipped added or mispronounced words.
• Categorize issues and mark the exact span using our review tooling.
• Report on listener satisfaction and highlight where narration feels natural or breaks the experience.
• Work consistently across many hours of audio maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in English (US / North American English).
• Experience as an active audiobook listener with opinions on quality.
• Working English proficiency for clear reporting and team communication.
• Experience in annotation labeling transcription proofreading or linguistics.
• Availability for 20 hours/week on a part-time basis.

Preferred

• Experience in AI training-data model-evaluation or audio/QA annotation projects.
• Background in language editing voice or audio production.
