• Hands-on fluency with acoustic test equipment and software (e.g. Audio Precision APx Klippel Bruel & KjærSoundCheck) and with HATS/manikins and artificial ears for on-device and on-ear measurement.
• Working knowledge of speech-enhancement algorithms multi-microphone beamforming adaptive noise
• cancellation AGC / dynamic range compression dereverberation and ML-based enhancement front-ends and the ability to interpret algorithm behavior from measurement data and give actionable feedback to algorithm developers.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for measurement automation analysis and reporting.
• Strong experimental discipline: able to define the metric build the rig run the sweep interpret the trade-offs recommend a setting and validate it.
• Ability to work independently in a lab environment and sustain a daily experimental cadence; strong attention to detail and clear technical communication.

• BS or MS in acoustics electrical engineering or a related technical field or equivalent combination of education

• 3 years of hands-on acoustic measurement experience in controlled laboratory settings.
• Demonstrated experience with audio signal processing and objective audio/speech quality evaluation.
• On-site in Redmond WA is required the work is lab-dependent.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Prior work on multi-microphone speech enhancement for wearable devices.
• Experience with prototype hardware devices and with designing or commissioning acoustic lab spaces.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical reports.
