Base salary plus quarterly performance bonus. High performers consistently earn above the range. Total comp grows with you there is no cap.
ORIGINATION BONUS UNCAPPED PAID ON EVERY CASE YOU BRING IN
Refer a case to the firm and earn one-third of the firms fee at resolution on top of your regular compensation. Most firms reserve this for partners. We offer it to every attorney from day one.
This role sits inside our St. Louis office. Youll handle all aspects of representing clients in their workers compensation matters from the moment a case opens through each resolution while providing direction and supervision to non-attorney staff to ensure full compliance with workers compensation laws regulations and labor codes.
70 attorneys firm-wide 200 support staff 10 markets $11M top verdict
Team lead: Guide and support a group of attorneys day-to-day
Department head: Own strategy and performance across a practice area
Mentorship: Shape the next generation of attorneys at the firm
New markets: Help open and build offices as the firm expands

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Weve secured multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for clients across every market we serve.This role sits inside our St. Louis office. Youll handle all aspects of representing clients in their workers compensation matters from the moment a case opens through each resolution while providing direction and supervision to non-attorney staff to ensure full compliance with workers compensation laws regulations and labor codes.

WHAT YOULL DO
- Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates and claim status throughout their matter
- Interact and negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients
- Draft case materials correspondence pleadings motions settlement agreements and other legal documents
- Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared by you and your team
- Represent clients at hearings depositions mediations and other proceedings
- Provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff in compliance with all workers compensation laws and regulations
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Active Missouri Bar license required
- At least one year of workers compensation experience preferred; strong candidates with relevant litigation background considered
- Eligibility to obtain Illinois Bar license (UBE score or reciprocity)
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Exceptional organizational prioritization and time-management skills
- Committed to providing responsive and compassionate client service
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs Excel Word SharePoint
- Outstanding written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
