Location: This role is primarily remote but youll need to be based in the Tampa Bay area as youll be attending hearings at the courthouse. Its the best of both worlds: flexibility to work from home with the energy of an active litigation practice.

Note: Candidates must be currently licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar have a minimum of 2 years of Florida family law experience and reside in the Tampa Bay area due to required courthouse appearances.

Job description

• Manage an active family law caseload covering divorce child custody support asset division paternity adoptions domestic violence and related matters
• Represent clients at hearings mediations and trial proceedings in Tampa Bay area courts
• Draft and review pleadings motions agreements and correspondence with precision and care
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients guiding them through often difficult legal processes
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal staff to deliver consistent high-quality representation
• Work independently and manage your caseload with minimal supervision
• Contribute to a culture of professionalism accountability and client service

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing required
• 2 years of Florida family law experience required
• Tampa Bay area residency required (courthouse appearances)
• Strong legal writing litigation and case management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented organized and dependable
• Litigation and trial experience highly desirable
• Bilingual in Spanish (spoken and written) a significant plus
