A nationally recognized litigation practice is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 3 years of experience to join its intellectual property and litigation platform.

This is an opportunity for a patent litigator who wants to work on complex infringement disputes while taking meaningful responsibility rather than remaining on the sidelines.

What Youll Do

• Youll work across the litigation lifecycle including:
• Representing clients in complex patent infringement disputes
• Drafting pleadings discovery motions briefs and claim construction materials
• Conducting legal and technical research
• Developing strategies involving infringement validity enforceability and damages
• Managing discovery document review and production
• Taking and participating in depositions
• Handling expert discovery and coordinating with technical experts
• Assisting with Markman hearings and IPR proceedings
• Working on dispositive motions trial preparation and appeals
• Collaborating directly with clients inventors experts and litigation teams

What Were Looking For

• 3 years of patent litigation experience
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California State Bar admission
• Strong patent infringement litigation experience
• Ability to independently manage cases
• Strong legal writing analytical and communication skills
• Meaningful deposition and court appearance experience
• Technical fluency
• Experience with Markman hearings IPRs dispositive motions or trial preparation is preferred

• The schedule is generally 4 days in the office and 1 day remote with some flexibility.

Compensation & Benefits

• BASE COMPENSATION RANGE - $225000 to $265000 with performance bonus eligibility and structured bonus thresholds at 1920 and 2100 hours.
