A nationally recognized litigation practice is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 3 years of experience to join its intellectual property and litigation platform.
This is an opportunity for a patent litigator who wants to work on complex infringement disputes while taking meaningful responsibility rather than remaining on the sidelines.
What Youll Do
- Youll work across the litigation lifecycle including:
- Representing clients in complex patent infringement disputes
- Drafting pleadings discovery motions briefs and claim construction materials
- Conducting legal and technical research
- Developing strategies involving infringement validity enforceability and damages
- Managing discovery document review and production
- Taking and participating in depositions
- Handling expert discovery and coordinating with technical experts
- Assisting with Markman hearings and IPR proceedings
- Working on dispositive motions trial preparation and appeals
- Collaborating directly with clients inventors experts and litigation teams
What Were Looking For
- 3 years of patent litigation experience
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California State Bar admission
- Strong patent infringement litigation experience
- Ability to independently manage cases
- Strong legal writing analytical and communication skills
- Meaningful deposition and court appearance experience
- Technical fluency
- Experience with Markman hearings IPRs dispositive motions or trial preparation is preferred

- The schedule is generally 4 days in the office and 1 day remote with some flexibility.
Compensation & Benefits
- BASE COMPENSATION RANGE - $225000 to $265000 with performance bonus eligibility and structured bonus thresholds at 1920 and 2100 hours.
