Note: Active membership with the California State Bar in good standing and 1 year of employment law experience are required. Employment litigation experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Represent employees in discrimination harassment retaliation whistleblower wrongful termination and related employment matters
• Draft pleadings motions discovery correspondence and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and help develop case strategy
• Participate in and prepare for depositions mediations hearings and trials
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear guidance regarding their workplace rights
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff throughout all stages of litigation
• Manage deadlines and case responsibilities with strong attention to detail
• Contribute to individual class action and other complex employment matters

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing
• 1 year of employment law experience
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Strong legal research writing drafting and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal communication and client service skills
• Employment litigation experience involving depositions motion practice or trial preparation preferred
• Plaintiff-side employment law experience preferred
• Genuine interest in employee advocacy and workplace justice

• 3 to 4 years: $135K to $155K
