Job Summary

An established California construction defect practice is seeking a Contract Attorney to assist with a growing pipeline of active litigation matters. This opportunity offers meaningful involvement in sophisticated construction defect disputes representing subcontractors and general contractors across the state.

The role is well suited for a litigator who enjoys substantive case responsibility collaboration on litigation strategy and direct involvement in all phases of construction defect litigation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction defect litigation assignments throughout California
  • Draft pleadings motions discovery requests and related litigation filings
  • Conduct and defend depositions involving experts contractors and key witnesses
  • Assist with mediation arbitration and trial preparation
  • Work closely with attorneys and clients on case strategy and litigation management
  • Support active matters involving subcontractor and general contractor representation

Work Arrangement

  • Fully remote California-based practice
  • Contract engagement supporting ongoing litigation matters

Compensation

  • $120/hr DOE
