Location: This is a full-time on-site opportunity in the Atlanta metropolitan area offering a collaborative office environment where attorneys work closely together to prepare cases develop strategy and deliver exceptional trial advocacy.

Note: Candidates must have an active Georgia Bar license and 2 years of directly relevant civil litigation experience. Attorneys from plaintiff-side insurance defense in-house or solo practice backgrounds will be considered if they possess strong litigation experience.

Job Description

• Handle civil litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Represent plaintiffs in personal injury employment civil rights and related matters.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery responses and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Take and defend depositions of parties witnesses and experts.
• Participate in mediations settlement conferences hearings and trials.
• Prepare witnesses and exhibits for trial.
• Maintain compassionate and responsive communication with clients.
• Negotiate with insurance companies employers and opposing counsel.
• Manage deadlines and independently handle active case files.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar license in good standing.
• 2 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in personal injury employment law civil rights or related litigation.
• Strong legal writing research analytical and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines.
• Trial hearing deposition or mediation experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
