Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma HiSET or G.E.D

  4. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  5. Maintain confidentiality.
  6. Attend work on a prompt and regular basis.
  7. Maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public students and other employees.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Attendance Clerk keeps records of attendance including daily attendance total enrollment drops and transfers. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the District.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Reviews incoming calls and emails with attendance updates; records daily absences tardies and suspensions in the Student Information System (SIS).
  2. Runs daily attendance reports and distributes as necessary.
  3. Checks in with students entering and exiting the building; issue passes collect notes enter information in the SIS and ensure students sign in.
  4. Assist with clerical tasks as needed such as answering phones making copies and greeting guests.
  5. Creates and issues suspension letters.
  6. Track home school activities for students. Research activities as necessary.
  7. Communicate with Central Campus and transportation regarding bus assignments or delays.
  8. Creates locker assignments
  9. Supervises student workers.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
