JOB DESCRIPTION
- Clean and sanitize athletic vans buses and other transportation vehicles.
- Vacuum interiors remove trash clean windows wipe surfaces and maintain overall vehicle appearance.
- Assist with washing fleet vehicles as assigned.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report maintenance concerns or damage to the Fleet Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus barn storage areas and transportation facilities.
- Assist with inventory and stocking of cleaning supplies and vehicle equipment.
- Fuel vehicles as directed.
- Support drivers with vehicle preparation before and after trips.
- Assist with equipment movement and organization within the transportation facility.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Fleet Manager or transportation staff.
- Follow all safety procedures and departmental policies.
- Current student in good standing.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Dependable punctual and responsible.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Ability to stand walk bend reach and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks inside and outside of vehicles.
- Flexible schedule based on departmental needs and student availability.
- Some evening weekend or holiday hours may be required during peak athletic travel periods.
- Experience with vehicle cleaning or custodial work.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with drivers coaches and transportation staff.
- Cleaning athletic vans and buses

- Organizing the bus barn and storage areas
- Refueling vehicles
- Assisting drivers and transportation staff
- Reporting maintenance and safety concerns
- Completing transportation-related projects as assigned
