Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting the NMSU Athletic Marketing staff in the development coordination and implementation of marketing promotional and fan experience efforts for all 16 sports and any specific sport or event to which assigned. Assist with managing public address announcers coordinating music video board elements pep band and other marketing needs to direct the flow of games events and promotions as needed. Fulfill sponsored elements such as logo exposure PA announcements promotions and events. Improve the atmosphere at each event through the use of games giveaways contests trivia and music etc. Complies with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Conference regulations in the performance of job duties.
Required Education and Experience:
Associates Degree 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors degree 2 years of relevant experience.
Equivalent Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field and two (2) years of experience related to the job duties and responsibilities as outlined.
Special Certification/Licensure:
Environment: Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures dirt dust fumes smoke unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.
Physical Effort: Moderate physical activity.
Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Risk: Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.
