Job Summary
Ipswich Public Schools is seeking a qualified professional to fill a part-time 0.4 FTE Athletic Trainer position at Ipswich High School for the upcoming school year. This critical role focuses on the health safety and peak performance of our student-athletes providing crucial preventative care emergency triage injury evaluation and rehabilitation services. Operating as a key component of the Tiger athletic program the selected candidate will collaborate closely with coaches parents and medical professionals to oversee comprehensive injury management and concussion return-to-play protocols.
- Fulfill the comprehensive duties of an Athletic Trainer for the duration of the entire school year.
- Provide preventative care emergency triage evaluation and rehabilitation for student-athletes.
- Oversee injury management concussion protocols and return-to-play clearances in coordination with medical professionals.
- Attend home athletic events and practices as designated by the Athletic Director.
Candidates must possess the following credentials at the time of application:
- Valid Athletic Trainer License issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professionals.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students parents coaches and administration.
