Job Description:
Eastside Preparatory School is seeking an organized energetic and student-centered Athletics Coordinator to help support our dynamic athletics program. Working closely with the Director of Athletics this role provides operational administrative and event support while helping create an outstanding experience for student-athletes coaches and families.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of the athletics department across all sports seasons.
- Coordinate game-day logistics event setup supervision and special events.
- Manage athletics communications social media student-athlete recognition and promotional content.
- Assist with scheduling transportation uniforms equipment and inventory management.
- Support coaches through onboarding resources professional development and program organization.
- Promote student leadership wellness sportsmanship and school spirit.
- Collaborate with students families faculty officials and community partners to ensure a positive athletics experience.
- Assist with program data yearbook content handbooks and other departmental projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience in athletics education event management communications or a related field.
- Experience working with students athletics youth programs or event coordination preferred.
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to work evenings weekends and occasional school breaks as needed.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced collaborative school environment.
- Strong initiative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students families coaches faculty officials and community partners.
- Experience with event planning logistics and program coordination.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Workspace and social media platforms; familiarity with athletics management systems (e.g. TeamSnap FinalForms Arbiter Canva) is a plus.
- Commitment to student development sportsmanship equity inclusion and creating a welcoming positive athletic culture.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to stand walk run and supervise during practices games and events.
- Work in varied environmental conditions including sun rain wind cold heat and noisy athletic and school environments.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by athletics events and seasonal needs.
Compensation: $32-$36 per hour
This is a 10-month position running from mid-August to mid-June with approximately 2 months off without pay during the year.
