Job Summary:

This position maintains the athletic fields to ensure that they are prepared as required. The incumbent prepares athletic fields for practice or competition.

Job Description:

The incumbent prepares athletic fields for practice or competition.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains athletic fields to ensure that they are prepared as required; assists in mowing spraying fertilizing and other similar maintenance functions.
  • Prepares athletic fields for practice sessions games and other athletic events; lines off rakes drags and cleans as required.
  • Checks to ensure a neat and clean appearance of athletic grounds.
  • Cleans dugouts as necessary.
  • Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department University Southeastern Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
