Position Summary

Elon University School of Law invites applications from faculty candidates with law teaching experience to join the full-time faculty at our new Charlotte location which will welcome its first full-time class in August 2027. We are interested in faculty who can teach first-year courses. The positions will start in summer 2027.

The success of Elon Laws innovative highly experiential full-time 2.5-year curriculum has led us to open a second full-time law program at our campus in Charlotte North seek a colleague who is eager to contribute to our mission: blending strong classroom instruction with experiential learning to fully equip a vibrant generation of practice-ready law graduates while pursuing forward-looking scholarship and embracing excellence in teaching mentoring service and scholarship. Required qualifications include a J.D. or equivalent law degree outstanding academic credentials substantive practice experience and admission with good standing to practice.
