What Youll Do:

Deliver High-Quality Veterinary Care

• Provide thorough compassionate medical surgical and preventative caretopets.

• Ensure an exceptional patient and client experience at every touchpoint.

• Maintainaccuratetimelymedical records.

• Deliver against defined individual performance targets and key metrics.

• Actively support the growth and development of our paraprofessional team with a learning-focused culture.

• Demonstratesproficiencyin performing complex surgical procedures and mastered the ability to deliver care forcomplicatedmedical cases.

• Work closely with Lead Veterinarian and Regional Medical Director to regularly review performance metrics and support the achievement of the hospitals operational and financial goals.

• May serve as the designated veterinarian responsible for controlled substance accountability regulatory compliance and related accounts within the practice.

• Responsible formaintainingaccuratecontrolled substance records and overseeingthe compliantordering storage inventory management reconciliation and disposal of controlled substancesin accordance withall applicable policies and regulations.

Whatyoullneed:

• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or ECFVG/PAVE equivalent).

• Active veterinary license USDA license and DEA registration in good standing (or ability to obtain in the practicingstate).

• 5 years experience in practice experience of general medicine and surgery; residency or internship trained

• Comfortable performing the following surgeries: cystotomy abdominal explore pyometra gastrotomy enterotomy and splenectomy.

• An active veterinary license must be in good standing.

• Strong practice skills with a commitment to high-quality evidence-based medicine and patient care.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients team members and peers.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute to a positive team-oriented culture.

• Willingness to learn grow and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for building relationships with clients and providing education on preventative care and treatment plans.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Interestin mentorship continuous learning and contributing to the development of veterinary teammates.

Physical job requirements:

• Standing or walking up to 80% per shift.

• Frequentlylift upto 50 pounds.

• Frequentlylift upto 70 pounds using an optional team lift.

• Rarely lift greater than 70 pounds using a team lift.

• Stand push pull carry squat and kneel.
