Role Overview
As an Associate Software Engineer you will contribute to projectstomodernize andoptimizeour closely with experienced engineers toidentify address andreducetechnical debttoensuresystemsremainreliable and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to development tasks focused on reducing technical debt and improving code quality with guidance from senior team members
• Solve defined technical problems and seek support from the team as needed
• Participate in code reviews receive feedback and buildtechnical skills while gaining experience with modern technologies and AI tools
• Apply foundational knowledge of software development practices including documentation testing debugging and data structures
• Maintain metricsand complete tasks in alignment with defined processes.
• Exhibit behaviors that exemplify AppliedSystemsValues in Action.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science related fieldsor equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Foundational knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with modern cloud-based technologies and software security practices.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and use cases for automated testing.
• Basic knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Eagerness to learn and grow as part of a collaborative engineering team.

PreferredQualifications

• Exposure to one or more of the following:
• Go React C# PythongRPC SQL REST APIs.
• Knowledge ofcloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform Kubernetes Terraform) and DevOps practices.

Learn more about the people behind our products at targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $60000 - $125000 USD. To determine a new team members starting pay we consider a variety of factors including someones depth breadth and variety of experience skills and responsibilities. Depending on the role team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.
