Job Description:

As an Associate Software Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of software interfacing with targeted hardware. You will be responsible for designing the software per requirement documents and system level design documents. There will be a focus to interface with the test engineers to influence test automation.

The Agile Development Group (ADG) division specializes in developing disruptive next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV) advanced radar systems next-generation weapon systems and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.

Essential Functions:

• Apply computer science engineering and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the targeted platform
• Proficient in C C
• Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces and applications between hardware firmware and software and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system
• Investigate and debug complex issues and implement solutions working independently or with a team
• Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis design implementation hardware-software integration and formal test
• Develop software test plans and procedures and other relevant technical documentation
• Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data conduct experimental tests prototype and evaluate results
• Participate in peer reviews identify track and repair defects

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceComputer Engineering or related field. Profiecent in C or C development. Working knowledge of Linux

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with Modern C C Python
• Experience withAgile Scrum/Kanban developmentprocesses and procedures
• Familiar with Linuxdevelopment environments
• Knowledge of embedded software development and RTOS
• Familiar with test equipment such as Oscilloscopes Spectrum analyzers Signal Generators.
