Job Purpose
TheAssociatePackaging Scientistwill havethe opportunity to be a technical leader by providingsupportin theexecution of projects.The ideal candidate is someone eager to learnfollowsestablished work plans andcontributestoaccurateprojectexecution.Effective communicationand collaboration skills are important as the role works closely withcross functionalpartners. A foundationalbackground intechnicalpackagingandthe ability to apply scientific principles to new situations with guidanceis essential for this role.Thepositionrequiresmanaging multiple tasksandstaying organized to ensureproject delivery.
EssentialFunctions &Responsibilities
Support development and implementation of new productlaunches from concepttocommercialization including technical drawings material specificationsandgraphics.
Contribute to packaging quality improvements through testing evaluation and continuous optimization.
Supportmore senior developers onhigh complexityprojects and leadlowercomplexityinitiatives asan initiative-takingtechnical resource.
Collaborate withcross functionalbusiness teams to advance initiatives across innovation renovation sustainability brand maintenanceandcost optimization.
Develop track and manage key deliverables to ensure alignment with R&D timelines and project milestones.
Buildmaintain and lead updates to primary packagingand tradespecifications.
Design execute and document plant trials involving a wide range of products and packaging materials.
Prepare clearandaccuratetechnical trial reports.
Expected Experience& Required Skills
B.S. degree in Packaging Engineering Materials Science or a related technical discipline (preferred).
Interest or foundational experience in the food or consumer products industry.
Demonstrated leadership potentialwithbasicunderstanding ofcommercializationprocessthrough coursework internships or project experience.
Willingness to travel up to 30% basedon business needs including visits to internal plantsdistribution facilitiesco-manufacturers and suppliers.
Ability to work effectively in office lab and manufacturing environments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Evidence ofself motivatedbehaviorswithstrongownershipandappropriateurgency.
Ability to manage multiple tasks stay organized and prioritize work.
Curiositywithdesire to continuously learn and growpersonal capabilities to deliver value to team function and organization.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position is considered aNormal office environment with moderate travel to customer locations stores manufacturing facilities etc.; offices are open workspaces

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$68900.00 - $86100.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors
