The Associate Scientist Gummy Products in collaboration with the Senior Formulation & Process Engineer Gummy Products is responsible for all aspects of product formulation product/process development scale up and commercialization of dietary supplement dosage :Develops robust formulations and processes for new immediate release and modified gummy scientific experiments to create prototype technical support and troubleshooting for existing manufactured the R&D lab areas with respect to cleanliness and ordering of lab new raw material for pre-formulation assessment in new products to ensure performance and compliance to regulatory alternate vendor materials for existing products with respect to cost savings and availability of sensory specifications and conducts sensory evaluation of new and existing raw materials and products where appropriate documentation and test results for accuracy and completeness and compliance with SOPs/GMP Master Batch Records Bulk Specifications and processing instructions for new products and revisions to existing duties as :Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Science or related science with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product development in food nutraceutical or pharmaceutical degree in Pharmaceutical Science or related science with a minimum of 3 years of relevant written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the to interact professionally and effectively with cross-functional groups such as Manufacturing Quality Procurement in order to accomplish project knowledge and practical experience with product/process development processing laboratory techniques and regulatory requirements and a foundation in chemistry mathematics pharmaceutics and/or food critical thinking and problem- solving comply with GMP in basic computer skills such as MS Word PowerPoint and of specialized software applications such as Stat Graphics and Minitab is to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change frequently which requires a shift in focus and Requirements:Must be able to lift 50lbsMust be able to stand for up to 8 hoursMust be able to work in a physically challenging environmentWe proudly offer: Medical Dental Vision 401K with Company Match Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events Summer Picnic Festive Packages Holiday Celebrations and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011 Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Islands Top Workplaces Award 6 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
