Job description
Manage an active caseload of state and federal class action matters including consumer protection privacy and unfair business practices claims
Draft pleadings motions and substantive briefs including class certification and summary judgment filings
Conduct legal research and produce high-quality written work product from correspondence to discovery materials
Handle all phases of written discovery: draft and respond to interrogatories requests for production and requests for admission
Take and defend depositions participate in oral arguments and assist with expert witness development
Coordinate e-discovery processes including document review organization and production
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation planning
Qualifications
3 years of litigation experience (plaintiff-side class action or complex civil preferred)
Active California Bar license (preferred; other bar admissions considered)
Strong legal research and writing skills with experience drafting motions and briefs
Excellent written and oral communication
Proven ability to manage an independent caseload in a remote environment
Genuine interest in consumer protection privacy law or class action litigation
