Job Summary
Friends University is seeking to fill the Associate Registrar position in Wichita Kansas. The Associate Registrar serves as a key leader within the Office of the University Registrar providing strategic oversight of academic records student data integrity and degree-related systems. This role ensures the accuracy security and integrity of the Universitys academic history while leading core functional areas including academic standing transfer credit evaluation catalog and curriculum systems and degree audit processes.
In collaboration with the University Registrar the Associate Registrar plays a critical role in policy implementation system optimization and cross-campus collaboration to support student success. This position also provides direct supervision of professional staff and serves as the primary operational lead in the absence of the Registrar.
Work hours are typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and occasionally extend to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Occasional additional evening and/or weekend hours may be required/requested.

Qualifications
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in higher education student records and registration; minimum of three years managerial and supervisory experience. Experience with Banner student information system and Degree Works preferred.
Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred.
Strong analytical written verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required. Strong customer service orientation is required.
Experience using a Student Information System Degree Audit software and Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required; experience with Banner and Degree Works preferred. Familiarization with certifying VA benefits credit transfer application processes and programming/scribing software (degree audit) preferred. Working knowledge of the admissions registration and student enrollment process and how it applies to undergraduate and graduate education programs. Ability to maintain confidential information in accordance with FERPA and University Policy is required.
