Job Description:
Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses
Collaborate with both internal (Operations Engineering and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executed
Determineroot cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as needed
Write inspection procedures andassistin reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions
Analyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans foridentifiedproblem areas
Serve as primary customer Quality interface which may include having to conduct customer business briefings
Qualifications:
To be eligible applicants must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Industrial engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science Quality Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Quality Management Quality Sciences or related field or have completed their Bachelors degree within the last 12 months regardless of age.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Six Sigma LEAN and/or simulation tools like Arena CAD and/or AutoCAD
