Job Summary
As an Associate Project Manager at John W. Danforth Company you will play a hands-on role in bringing projects to life gaining exposure to both field and office this fast-paced role youll take ownership of key project activities - from coordinating material procurement and tracking quantities to reviewing submittals RFIs and supporting critical project communications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Support project managers in planning and allocating resources effectively to meet project objectives.
Assist in preparing comprehensive budgets and monitoring financial progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Aid in monitoring project timelines and milestones identifying and addressing potential risks and delays.
Maintain clear and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
Collaborate with project team members to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions.
Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all project stages.
Coordinate project schedules subcontracts and labor to maximize project success.
Review project invoice amounts with clients to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain a daily log of project activities and correspondence to track progress and facilitate communication.
Qualifications
05 years of experience in the construction or engineering industry.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Associates degree (AAS) in a construction-related field preferred.
Proficiency with computer-based project management and related systems.
Ability to safely navigate job sites including climbing ladders and stairs to review work in progress.
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting reaching climbing and crawling.
Work is performed in both office and active construction environments.
Construction environments may be non-climate-controlled physically challenging dirty and potentially hazardous requiring strict adherence to safety protocols.

Geographic Disclosure
Compensation Range: $65000-$75000
Other Compensation: Bonus eligible
