Associate HR Generalist

Pacific Staffing is partnering with our Stockton CA based client in the search for an Associate HR Generalist to support their expanding Human Resources function. This senior-level role provides advanced operational and strategic support across multiple HR disciplines working closely with HR leadership people managers and employees. • Salary: $90K-$100K/ year (DOE)
• 100% onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level operational and strategic support to HR leadership across multiple HR functions.
• Coach managers and employees to support performance development and engagement.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues investigations and union-related matters.
• Manage escalated leaves of absence and medical accommodations in compliance with California employment laws.
• Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies procedures and labor practices.
• Lead cross-functional HR initiatives that improve efficiency and scalable HR operations.
• Analyze HR metrics and trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and support employee inquiries on HR policies benefits payroll and workplace matters.
• Support compliance efforts audits reporting and policy updates.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 5 years of HR experience in an HRBP or similar role.
• HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
• Strong experience coaching employees and managers through complex and sensitive situations.
• Solid understanding of HR principles employment law and labor practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong project management abilities and sound judgment in navigating sensitive matters.
