Who Youll Work With

As part of Legal Compliance & Regulatory the Corporate Legal Team provides leadership and advice on technology cybersecurity resiliencydata/ AIprivacyandthird partygovernance risk management and regulatory complianceacrossCorebridges businessunitsand corporate functions. We work collaboratively with each otherandwith our LCR colleagues and functional and business partners tocontinuously improvesolve problems and achieve company objectives in an effective efficient and pragmatic are the primary legal counsel to CorebridgesChief Information Officer Chief Information Security OfficerandChief Operating Officerand their teams including theChief Technology OfficerInformation Security OfficeData OfficeEnterprise ResiliencyandProcurement & Sourcing.

About The Role

As anAssociate General CounselintheCorporate Legal Team you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and relevant issuesat the intersection offinancial servicesinformation technology dataand areanenergetic and business-oriented legal teamthat works on a wide range of regulatory compliance risk managementtransactionaland corporate leverage our expertise incorporate technology and data usetoprovideour business and functionalpartnersstrategic and tacticaladviceonlegal risks andregulatoryrequirementsfortechnologycybersecurityresiliencyprivacy data and AI.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring analyzingand advocating ondeveloping laws and regulationsand participating in internalforumsandwithtrade associationsto provide input on impacts andrepresentcompany positions
  • Designingand providing oversightandescalation support forgovernance andcompliance programs includingmaintaininginternalpolicies and proceduresand supportingregulatory filingsandexamssecurities disclosuresinvestigationsandaudits.
  • Advising on and managinglegalresponses tooperationalcybersecurity and privacy events and incidentsand maintainingincident response plans and procedures
  • Collaborating with members of the Information Security Office and Information Technology departments to advise on legal and regulatory requirements issues and risk management
  • Working closely with transactional attorneys business partners and procurement professionals to update and maintain contract templatesandplaybooks; handle escalations from transactional teams in support of vendor agreements B2B client RFPs / agreements and other contractual relationships
  • Providing thought leadership on emerging issuesandeducating Corebridge personnel by developing andundertakingtrainingon important topics

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is$180000 to $238000at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors which may include the candidates geographic location skills experience and other qualifications.

In addition the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and company equity in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Work Location

This position can be based inany ofCorebridgeFinancialsthree main hub offices whichare located inWoodland Hills-CA Houston-TX or Jersey City-NJ and is subject to our hybrid working policy which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.Exceptional candidates located near non hub locations may be considered.

This role is deemed a covered associate under SEC Rule 206(4)-5 17 CFR 275.206(4)-5 Political contributions by certain investment advisers and other federal and state pay-to-play rules.
