Associate Fuel Systems Repair and Modification Technician Executive Fleet

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate Fuel Systems Repair and Modification Technicians to join our Executive Fleet team in San Antonio TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed inspections maintenance and repairs on aircraft fuel systems to include Engine Feed Fuel Transfer Fuel Indicating Fuel Dump/Vent Refuel/Defuel systems as well as External fuel tanks
  • Troubleshoot inspect repair modify replace aircraft fuel components and systems and perform operational checks
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards technical orders and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain necessary certifications licenses and permits as required for assigned work
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve fuel system reliability and performance
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and fuel system status
  • Use precision measuring instruments gauges tools etc. necessary to check dimensions and conformance to quality requirements
  • Support aircraft readiness and mission requirements by ensuring fuel systems are fully operational
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment
  • Assist other team members (Avionics Structures Electrical) to ensure cost/schedule targets are met

This position requires the ability to pass an assessment during the training cycle

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 4 years of experience working as a Fuel Systems Technician/Mechanic
  • 4 years of experience in working with blueprints specifications assembly drawings and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods during shift
  • Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience with operations or maintenance of Executive Fleet Aircraft
  • Experience in aircraft heavy maintenance
  • Ability to operate a forklift mobile crane and riding type electric powered elevating equipment

Summary Starting Pay Rate: $79000 / $37.98 per hour

Additive Pay:

$1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification

$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
