This position will be responsible for partnering with a Financial Advisor to provide excellent service and financial goal planning to existing clients who are assigned. Will be responsible for meeting client service and revenue goals for this book of business. Additionally they will work with multiple retail branch offices as well as other lines of business within the bank to identify and recommend solutions to prospective Trust and Investment clients.
Job Duties:
- Service existing Investment and Retirement Plan Services clients including conducting financial goal planning to ensure the best possible advice and recommendations.
- Work in a team environment. Partner with a Financial Advisor on Investment and/or Retirement Plan Services business and a Trust Administrator on Fiduciary business.
- Add new clients by developing strong relationships with internal bank partners as well as prospecting outside of the banks existing customers.
- Will be responsible leading or participating in the business plan design and execution to meet or exceed revenue and client service goals.
- Comply with all industry rules and regulations.
- Maintain needed training or education on an ongoing basis.
- Effort to improve service quality client communication skills and techniques networking and sales opportunities.
- Exhibit and demonstrate the qualities identified in the Peoples Employee Promise Circle.
- Will perform special projects as assigned.
Education Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Four year degree and/or a professional designation such as Certified Financial Planner or equivalent work experience.
- FINRA series 7 66 (or 63 and 65) and Ohio Life and Health Insurance licenses strongly preferred or must be successfully obtained within 6 months of hire date.
- At least one year of previous experience in a financial services environment required.
- Working knowledge of basic products and services and how they apply to particular client situations.
- An understanding of and ability to comply with industry rules and no previous disclosures on Form U4.
- Able to productively use resources such as technology or other assistance to provide excellent service to clients.
- Good team player who is skilled at working with other associates to achieve excellent results.
- Flexibility to meet changing needs and priorities.
- Willingness to maintain needed investment and financial planning expertise.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet with clients as well as the ability to travel between branches.
Basic Qualifications:
- Four year degree and/or a professional designation such as Certified Financial Planner or equivalent work experience.
