Key Responsibilities:
Represent lenders borrowers and other transaction participants in commercial finance matters.
Draft review and negotiate loan agreements and related financing documents.
Manage financing transactions from initial structuring through closing.
Conduct legal due diligence and identify transaction-related risks.
Coordinate with clients opposing counsel and transaction stakeholders throughout the deal process.
Provide strategic legal and business advice on financing transactions.
Manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines effectively.
Support client development and business development initiatives.
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas on complex transactions.
Maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service and responsiveness.
Requirements:
J.D. degree (or equivalent) from an accredited law school.
4 6 years of commercial finance experience at a law firm.
Strong experience drafting and negotiating loan and financing documents.
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical drafting negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Admission to and good standing with the Texas Bar or eligibility to become admitted in Texas.
