Associate Engineering Data Scientist

Company:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering team P-8 Sustainment program is seeking an Associate Engineering Data Scientist to join our dynamic team leading the way in Integrated Health Management Systems (IHMS) in Tukwila Washington. Our engineers work in a highly dynamic environment collecting data analyzing data and making actionable recommendations to enable critical product improvements and support decisions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs data analysis integral to the research development test and evaluation of company products or manufacturing processes
• Investigates and applies best fit methods and algorithms validates results and performs necessary data preparation and enhancements to models

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 3 years of experience in a technical or engineering field
• Experience developing and testing software products in a cloud computing environment
• Education or experience in computational problem solving or data analytics (e.g. software development with C Java or Python)
• Experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in a role that requires strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience working in engineering change management
• Experience providing engineering support to aircraft production systems
