TheAssociate Director US OncologyInsights(GynecologyGenitourinarypipeline and on-marketproducts)generates actionable insights that help shape brand strategy and tactics based on a combination of primary research and secondary data across customer segments HCP and Consumer. The InsightsAssociate Directoruses sound market research along with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to guide brand teams in making key decisions informing brand performance and forecasts developing promotional tactics and overall brand strategy. Keys to success in this position are superlative communication consultative and influencing skills and astrong knowledgeof primary market research techniques and secondary data analysis. This is an individual contributor role responsible for leading internal projects and external vendors.

The Insights Associate Director contributes to the overall US Insights function defining and elevating best practices capabilities and innovation (including AI capabilities).
In addition they will provide coaching and guidance to more juniorinsightsteam members.
This role reports to the Integrated Insights Senior Director for theGynecology GenitourinaryFranchise and sits withinUS Integrated Insights - Oncology Business Excellence organization an inclusive team that partners with the US Oncology commercial organization to drive strategic decisions by providing objective data-driven insight generation and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Identifykey business needs with stakeholders and build research/analysis plans to deliver actionable insights to shape strategy collaborating closely with forecasting and analytics colleagues
Continuously assess priorities on market research/ insight plans and execute market research projectsby leading external agency work; develop andmaintainmarket research project budget
Translate insights resultstoinform forecasting assumptions and recommended strategic & tactical actions to franchise leadership
Apply AI tools to primary market research execution & analysis; drive organizational assessment and adoption of novel AI insights techniques and systems
Build presentations that clearly and succinctly highlight the actionable insights combined with businessimplications &options
Compile analyze and visualize findings from secondary marketing and/or sales data (including identification andappropriate useof data sources) in partnership with Analytics colleagues
Lead insights metrics/KPI tracking for the brand (e.g. ATU Chart Audit) acting as the voice of HCPs and consumers for the brand
Lead US commercial competitive intelligence for relevant launched / launching treatments providing insight to changing market dynamics and strategic implications
Create the integrated insights picture for the franchise weaving together cross-indication primary market research secondary analysis and analytics from US Business Excellence colleagues; incorporate key insights results from outside the department (e.g.Global Medical Biomarkers)
Align withsenior stakeholders (e.g. US Franchise VP) on franchise insights priorities
Provideconsultative guidance to more junior insights team members including project scope andmethodology
Contribute to overall insights function development and innovation
Essential Experience/Qualifications
Bachelors degree with a preference for a quantitative field (e.g. Engineering Data Science Statistics Math Economics Computer Science Operations Research)
4 years ofexperienceatapharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturer orworkingin the biopharmaceutical industry (e.g. management consulting market research data/analytics investment banking)
2years of primary market research and analytical experience applying varied primary research techniques and secondary information analysis
Proven ability to influence laterally and vertically
Strong understanding of primary market research tools and techniques
Desired Experience/Qualifications
Advanced degree in a quantitative field or Advanced Marketing Degree (e.g. MBA)
Experience synthesizing primary market research with analytics/secondary data to create a more robust understanding (e.g.commercial performance tracking)
Insights launch experience with a new brand orindication
Experience working in Oncology
Experience leading cross-functional teams

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $194500- $291800. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and addition our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles) and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program 401(k) plan; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and health benefits including medical prescription drug dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
