Associate Director Epidemiology

The Associate Director Epidemiology will provide scientific leadership in disease epidemiology leveraging real-world data (RWD) cutting-edge methods and technology across medicine and vaccine development. The role aims to generate credible and actionable real-world evidence (RWE) to improve patient outcomes aligning epidemiology programs with broader asset/disease strategies to deliver new medicines and vaccines efficiently and effectively

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

• Masters degree in Epidemiology or other Quantitative Public Health discipline
• 1years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience in an academic or government setting.

Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:

• Doctoral degree (PhD ScD DrPH) in Epidemiology Public Health Biostatistics or a related quantitative discipline.
• Demonstrated epidemiological expertise and ability to influence key internal (matrix leaders) and external (e.g. regulators) stakeholder
• Highly proficient written verbal and listening skills
• Experience operating in a matrix environment with independent delivery of increasingly complex epidemiological studies including regulatory requirements.
• Ability to apply epidemiology methods and study design knowledge in execution of their work (e.g. post-approval studies)
• Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results under tight deadline
• Knowledge of external regulatory and scientific landscape around RWE

The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $135750 to $226250. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market the candidates skills experience education level and the market rate for the addition this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family) retirement benefits paid holidays vacation and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
