Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (the Company) a subsidiary of Marcus & Millichap Inc. (NYSE:MMI) is seeking anAssociate Capital Markets tosupport topproducingcommercial real estate debt and equityorigination teams. The candidate willbe a key team member inthe origination and execution of financing transactions and willbe responsible forfinancial modelingmarketand sponsor due diligenceassistingwith the creation of offering memorandumand other critical tasks. This role isdesignatedto be a non-exempt position.
The hourly range for this role is $31.25 $38.46 per hour. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education experience and job-related skills relevant to the role. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer and posted salary ranges are provided in good faith for compliance with all relevant pay-transparency regulations. These ranges may not reflect potential compensation for positions based in other states or regions.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
Support senior team members in the execution of capitalmarketsassignments including debt placementsandselectequity raises.
Assistin the development of pro-forma financials and cash flow models.
Conduct market research and help prepare competitive analyses supply/demandstudiesand demographic reports.
Review and input property rent rolls leases and operating statements.
Research local real estate markets toidentifytrends opportunities and potential risks.
Assistin the preparation of responses to lender and equity investor inquiries.
Request and coordinate transaction documentation.
Follow up with clients prospective buyers and investors on issues related to transaction closings.
KEYATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE
3to5yearscommercialrealestateexperienceincapitaladvisorybankingorvaluation.
Bachelorsdegreeinfinanceaccountingorcommercialrealestate.
Superior financial modeling skillsutilizingExcel and Argus.
Proficiencywith CoStar and other data sourcesa plus.
High attention to detail in analytical assessments and valuations.
Experience with PowerPoint and other presentation software.
Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and productively during time-sensitive situations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with a team-player attitude.
Flexible attitude with the ability to handle change effectively.
Availability for North American Travel.
