Job Description Summary
This position serves as cashier customer service assists with stocking the store and other duties as assigned.
Duties
1. Assists customers with textbooks and supplies. 2. Rings up sales on the cash register. 3. Assists with the unpacking stocking and processing of textbooks clothing supplies and food items. 4. Maintains bookstore supply and convenience shelves restock as needed. 5. Stocks textbook shelves and assists with returning textbooks when needed 6. Works additional hours during January and August. 7. Contributes to the College Vision Mission Values and RISE statement. 8. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects. 9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience working in college bookstore; 2. Experience using BookLog; 3. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish an East Slavic language and/or American Sign Language.
