Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Greenwich Connecticut offering the flexibility to split your time between the office and remote work while collaborating with an experienced litigation team.

Note: Applicants must be admitted to the Connecticut Bar and have at least 3 years of employment litigation experience. Experience handling complex civil litigation matters is highly preferred.

Job Description

• Represent employers and business clients in employment litigation and complex civil litigation matters.
• Handle cases from inception through resolution including pleadings discovery depositions motion practice mediation arbitration and trial preparation.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions briefs memoranda and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies that achieve favorable client outcomes.
• Defend clients in matters involving discrimination harassment retaliation wage and hour disputes restrictive covenants wrongful termination and related employment claims.
• Manage discovery including document production written discovery and witness preparation.
• Attend court appearances hearings depositions mediations and settlement conferences.
• Build strong client relationships while collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
• Contribute to business development and maintain exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Connecticut Bar admission required.
• 3 years of employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling complex civil litigation matters.
• Strong legal writing research negotiation and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience managing cases independently while balancing multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication organizational and client relationship skills.
• Trial experience is a plus.
