Location: This is a full-time on-site position based in Dayton OH. We are a hands-on team that thrives on in-person collaboration this role is best suited to candidates already living in the area or fully committed to relocating independently.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Handle a civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution drafting pleadings conducting discovery preparing for depositions and appearing in court
- Advise and represent small business clients on a range of legal matters including contracts disputes and general business counsel
- Assist clients with probate administration and contested estate matters
- Draft and review estate planning documents including wills trusts powers of attorney and related instruments
- Conduct thorough legal research and produce clear well-reasoned written work product
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex multi-issue matters
- Communicate directly with clients providing timely updates and sound legal guidance
- Manage deadlines and competing priorities across an active docket
QUALIFICATIONS
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 1 years of experience in civil litigation (general practice experience with probate/estate planning and/or small business work a plus)
- Active Ohio Bar admission (required)
- Strong legal research writing and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated detail-oriented and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to manage an active caseload independently
