Position Summary
Presentation is seeking a full-time Associate Athletic Director. The purpose of the Associate Athletic Director is to assist the Vice Principal for Student Life & Athletics with the coordination and execution of all school athletic activities and to ensure that the department is run with integrity and in accordance with the schools overall mission. Coaching staff recruitment and development will be a key collaborative effort with the VP for Student Life & Athletics along with support for event management.
Duties and Specific Responsibilities
Model for students student-athletes coaches faculty/staff parents and members of the community the mission and values of Presentation High School.
- Work with the Vice Principal for Student Life & Athletics to implement and assess the effectiveness of the Athletic Departments vision and goals.
- Serve as a site director/representative during assigned home games and post-season contests.
- Manage all aspects of team schedules (website weekly communications officiating requests and Skedda).
- Assist the Vice Principal for Student Life & Athletics with seasonal Coach and Parent Meetings.
- Support the hiring process for coaches including interview coordination reference calls and onboarding in collaboration with HR.
- Manage the coach certification process updating all records and communicating expectations.
- Manage the end-of-season student-athlete feedback collection process.
- Manage all communications and planning for seasonal senior day ceremonies.
- Manage the coordination and operations associated with the end-of-season and end-of-year awards.
- Assist in the inventory/management of uniforms as well as the design of new uniforms (in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications Director).
- Schedule communicate and assist with seasonal team pictures.
- Manage coaches gear inventory and distribution.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of summer camps including leading all weekly communications t-shirt inventory and distribution and camp coverage.
- Produce content for marketing all aspects of the Presentation Athletic Department (student-athletes coaches achievements college signings etc.) for the Athletics main page of the website social media outlets for the Athletic Department (Instagram Twitter etc.) and external media outlets and opportunities.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Department to ensure that athletics is visible to current alumnae and prospective students and families.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- B.A. degree is required with a Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization preferred (Athletic Administration Sports Management etc.).
- Experience working in Athletic leadership; experience in independent schools especially Catholic schools strongly preferred.
- Current first aid CPR and AED certification.
- Experience coaching at the high school varsity level.

The Associate Athletic Director must be able to:
- Lift and/or carry up to 50lbs of athletic equipment
- Spend a considerable amount of the day on their feet and walking around campus
- Spend time at a desk using a computer
- Hear and speak using the phone system
- Work with frequent interruptions
Work Environment
This position is a combination of office work and supervising programming around campus including
outdoors.
