Associate Athletic Director, Compliance
Job Summary
| Job Summary/Basic Function: | This position is responsible for overseeing the Athletics Compliance Office and ensuring institutional control under NCAA rules and regulations. They are also responsible for the monitoring systems which assist the University in complying with all University Conference and NCAA rules and regulations governing the intercollegiate athletics operations. They personally coordinate and direct coaches and monitor the recruitment admission and initial eligibility of prospects in all sports programs. |
| Level Scope: | Oversees through subordinate Managers a large complex organization with multiple functional disciplines/occupations OR manages a program regardless of size that has critical impact upon the campus. Significant responsibility for formulating and administering policies and programs manages significant human financial and physical resources and functions with a very high degree of autonomy. Frequently influences business decisions made by senior leadership. Oversees through subordinate Managers the accountability and stewardship of campus resources and the development of systems and procedures to protect organizational assets. Negotiates and influences others to understand and accept new concepts practices and approaches. |

| Knowledge Skills Abilities: | Must have strong experience and knowledge of all NCAA and conference rules and regulations regarding compliance issues. |
| MinimumQualifications: | Bachelors degree plus 8 years relevant experience including 5 years managerial experience |
