Expected salary range of $63000 to $70000 varies based on experience along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
This role in the Commercial Business Solutions team assists financial governance for Constellations Commercial IT Projects. Key duties include financial monitoring and reporting of project expenditures recoding journal entries and ensuring appropriate levels of approvals for projects. The position requires effective collaboration with IT FP&A and commercial stakeholders as well as strong communication skills for reporting.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual IT project financials and forecasts.
Assist in the preparation of variance analysis and explanations for IT projects and department budgets including capital and operations and maintenance.
Collaborate with PMO and IT leaders to track project milestones expenditures and return on investment.
Assist with cost benefit analyses and business case development for proposed IT investments including capital and operations and maintenance determinations.
Record related journal entries and accruals.
Ensure compliance with internal governance and financial policies and external regulatory standards.
Support tracking of project milestones KPIs and reporting cadence to ensure visibility.
Travel required as necessary to meet business needs.
In-person attendance for training all-hands meetings and other meaningful engagements.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related financial field
Analytical understanding of finance and accounting
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel Tableau Power BI)
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (e.g. CPA CFA MBA)
PMP Certification
