Position Summary: The Associate Product Manager Meetings & Events supports the planning development and execution of strategic healthcare professional (HCP) customer and internal meetings. This role partners closely with Product Marketing Clinical Marketing Sales Medical Affairs and external vendors to deliver high-quality events that support business objectives customer engagement product education and brand awareness.
How Youll Make an Impact
Support the planning and execution of regional national and international meetings conferences advisory boards and educational programs.
Coordinate meeting logistics timelines budgets and vendor management activities.
Collaborate with product marketing and clinical teams to ensure meeting content aligns with strategic objectives.
Assist in the development of meeting materials agendas speaker resources attendee communications and event branding.
Manage project plans and track key deliverables to ensure successful event execution.
Support budget planning expense reconciliation and vendor contract administration.
Partner with compliance legal and regulatory teams to ensure events meet company policies and industry guidelines.
Gather attendee feedback and post-event metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Help drive innovation in customer engagement and meeting experiences.
Support launch meetings field meetings congress activities physician education programs and leadership events.
This is an on-site position based in Irvine CA.
What Youll Need (Required)
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in related field 3 years experience of previous related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Required or
Masters Degree or equivalent in related field 1 Year experience of previous related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria PreferredExperience working in sales marketing or healthcare industry or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Preferred
What Else We Look For (Preferred)
3 years of experience in event planning meeting management project management marketing or related functions.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working with vendors agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and to adapt to rapidly changing environment
Strong problem-solving organizational analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Knowledge of HCP meeting compliance requirements and industry standards.
Experience supporting national sales meetings physician education programs or medical congresses.
Familiarity with event management platforms and registration systems.
Experience managing budgets and contracts.
Strong attention to detail and customer-focused mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced highly collaborative environment.
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Substantial understanding and knowledge of principles theories and concepts relevant to managing small-to-mid scale project plans

For California the base pay range for this position is $87000 to $123000 (highly experienced).
