Primary Purpose of Position
Perform entry-level Human Resources related duties and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations training employment labor relations affirmative action recruitment and employment equity programs. Works under direct supervision reporting to the Manager Human Resources.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Partner with Senior Human Resources Business Partner and/or Human Resources Managers to communicate and administer various Human Resources policies procedures laws standards and government regulations.
Support recruitment activity as needed in partnership with talent acquisition function.
Facilitate and/or provide training and orientation to the workforce.
Administration of HR objectives policies and procedures.
Provide transactional support of employee and organizational changes.
Provides coaching and counseling to business to resolve employee issues under direction of HR Business Partner
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Finance or a related field
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be able to use best judgment in critical decision making
Human Resources experience
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing proofing materials establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Works effectively and relates well with others including superiors colleagues and individuals inside and outside the Company
Effective communication skills verbally and in writing across all levels
The employee exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships
