Office Location: This position is assigned to our office located at 13th & Farnam St Omaha NE.

Pay Grade 7: $30.597/hour ($30.979/hour after pay structure increases on June 29 2026) This rate is based upon available budget funds; any offer will be made at this rate.

Essential Functions

• Designs and provides technical assistance (e.g. use modification maintenance repair) related to home and vehicle modifications and other assistive devices.
• Participates in awareness activities at various conferences and events.
• Provides technical assistance to employers educators professionals and family members of people with disabilities regarding assistive devices (e.g. their design use modification maintenance and repair).
• Documents and manages case information develops plans and specifications for projects completes evaluation reports and communicates case progress.
• Maintains regular & reliable attendance possesses a valid drivers license and travels independently and works in a variety of settings.

Working Conditions and Travel:This position requires approximately 35% of work time spent in an office environment; the remaining 65% is spent traveling or working in alternative sites as such as meetings and conferences throughout the community. There is also approximately two days of overnight travel per year.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a related field and three years of experience related to the essential functions of the position. Any equivalent education and/or work experience may be substituted in order to meet the minimum qualifications of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:Education in architecture drafting construction or occupational therapy and physical therapy related fields. Experience providing home-related assistive technology and support to people with disabilities and their families and designing environmental modifications and adaptive devices.
