Were hiring an Assistive Technology Specialist to focus on home or vehicle modifications that help people with disabilities gain greater independence in everyday tasks that other may take for this role youll collaborate with a diverse group of professionals vendors contractors families and individuals to develop creative functional solutions that make a real impact.

Office Location: This position is assigned to our office located at 13th & Farnam St Omaha NE.

Pay Grade 7: $30.597/hour ($30.979/hour after pay structure increases on June 29 2026) This rate is based upon available budget funds; any offer will be made at this rate.

  • Essential Functions

    Working Conditions and Travel:This position requires approximately 35% of work time spent in an office environment; the remaining 65% is spent traveling or working in alternative sites as such as meetings and conferences throughout the community. There is also approximately two days of overnight travel per year.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a related field and three years of experience related to the essential functions of the position. Any equivalent education and/or work experience may be substituted in order to meet the minimum qualifications of the position.

    Preferred Qualifications:Education in architecture drafting construction or occupational therapy and physical therapy related fields. Experience providing home-related assistive technology and support to people with disabilities and their families and designing environmental modifications and adaptive devices.
