Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting:This is a full-time tenure-track position to begin in August 2027. Rank will be determined based upon the successful candidates qualifications. The successful candidate will effectively teach a variety of face-to-face and/or online accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and will sustain an active stream of quality research. Service responsibilities are also expected including service to the department college and university. The successful candidate will maintain a regular on-campus presence. The normal teaching load for tenure-track faculty is nine hours per semester.

Assistant Professor: an earned doctorate with an emphasis in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited U.S. institution (ABD candidates nearing completion may be considered); must meet WKU criteria for Scholarly Academic status.

Associate Professor: the same requirements as Assistant plus a record that merits appointment at the Associate rank; this determination will be made by the search committee and the dean based onqualifications.
