Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach

The Opportunity

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) seeks a dynamic student-centered and forward-thinking Assistant Coach (Womens Lacrosse) to provide visionary leadership.

The assistant womens lacrosse coach supports the head coach and is responsible for a variety of coaching teaching and recruiting tasks along with practice and game-day related functions as assigned by the head coach.

Primary Job Functions Duties or Accountabilities:

• Provide instruction to womens lacrosse student-athletes on the fundamentals and strategies of womens lacrosse.
• Assist in recruiting and retaining highly skilled student-athletes for the womens lacrosse team.
• Actively support and promote the NCAAs Life in the Balance strategic platform embracing the six ideals of learning balance resourcefulness sportsmanship passion and service.
• Assist in monitoring the academic progress of all womens lacrosse team members.
• Maintain and manage team equipment.
• Assist in securing donations and sponsorships to support the womens lacrosse program .
• Assist with arranging for lodging and meals for team trips.
• Assume duties of the head coach in their absence.
• Knowledge understanding and ability to instruct sport-specific skills techniques and strategies.
• Ability to lead motivate develop recruit and coach student-athletes at the collegiate level.
• Understanding of the NCAA bylaws rules and regulations.
• Public relations and fundraising

• Generous Time Off:Enjoy up to 18 days of paid leave in your first year including 3 days granted upon hire and 15 days accrued throughout the year. Youll also receive 9 paid holidays including the day after Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas Eve and New Years Day.

Compensation

The (annual salary/hourly) range for this role isup to. The final offer will be based on the candidates skills qualifications and experience as well as applicable state regulations internal equity and business needs and may fall outside of the stated range.
