The Opportunity

NU Packaging is hiring an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support our Warehouse Manager in running the day-to-day heartbeat of our operation receiving storage picking packing and shipping. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on keeping a fast-paced warehouse organized safe and productive and who wants real influence over inventory accuracy order fulfillment and team performance.

What Youll Do

• Assist in planning scheduling and directing all warehouse activities (receiving storage picking packing shipping)
• Oversee and delegate tasks to warehouse personnel while leading safety protocols and company procedures
• Lead and motivate the team to hit daily weekly and monthly performance and quality targets
• Maintain optimal inventory levels of packaging supplies and maximize storage space utilization
• Conduct/participate in periodic cycle counts and investigate discrepancies promptly
• Oversee accurate efficient and timely order fulfillment prioritizing based on urgency and delivery deadlines
• Proactively resolve fulfillment issues (stock shortages backorders) with customer service and sales
• Enforce safety regulations conduct regular safety inspections and train staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
• Maintain a clean organized and secure warehouse environment
• Prepare and communicate accurate warehouse activity reports (inventory levels fulfillment times)

What You Bring

• High school diploma required
• Strong attention to detail time management and problem-solving skills
• Customer/vendor-focused mindset and solid analytical and technical proficiency
• Comfort with data entry and digital tools
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work effectively in a fast-paced loud warehouse environment
• Regular and predictable attendance
