Job Summary

- Hybrid Calendar - providing 11 additional paid days to 10-month employees over a traditional school calendar; 12-month employees get Fridays off in the summer
- NEW Teacher Pay Scale: $44000-$80100
- up to $6000 tested subject/core content stipend

What is a Hybrid Calendar
At Snyder ISD we want to surround our students with the best. To recruit and retain top-tier staff the Board of Trustees voted to adopt a HYBRID calendar beginning in 2023. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the calendar the Board of Trustees has repeatedly voted for it to continue. A gift!
I know as a mom of three I have thoroughly enjoyed having these extra Fridays off and not having to take days for simple things like dentist appointments orthodontist appointments eye doctors etc. There was even one Friday morning we had off that I was getting to spend at home with my young child and I remember thinking that it felt like a GIFT. I felt like Snyder ISD GIFTED me with that time with my child that I wouldnt otherwise icing on the cake for me wanting to stay here throughout the rest of my career!
Helped with burnout...
I have really enjoyed the calendar with the additional days off. This has personally helped with burnout especially during the harder/longer parts of the school year.
