Position Summary

Lehigh Valley Academy is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches to join our athletics program for the Spring 2027 boyss volleyball season. These seasonal positions support student-athletes in developing their skills teamwork sportsmanship and love of the game.

The High School Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to support varsity-level practices and competitions. The Middle School Head and Assistant Coaches will collaboratively lead a developmental program focused on foundational skills and team play for younger athletes.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct practices aligned with age-appropriate skill development and team strategy

  • Supervise student-athletes during all practices games and travel

  • Promote positive team culture and good sportsmanship

  • Collaborate with athletic staff school administrators and families

  • Adhere to school policies and league regulations regarding player eligibility conduct and safety

  • Attend all scheduled games and tournaments during the season

Qualifications
  • Prior experience coaching or playing volleyball (school or club level) preferred

  • Ability to teach and model skills rules and strategies of volleyball

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Commitment to the well-being and development of student-athletes

  • Must meet all PA Department of Education clearance requirements for working with students
