We are seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher Infants to support our infant classroom and teaching team. This role works closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a safe nurturing and responsive environment where infants feel secure and supported during their earliest stages of development.
The ideal candidate is patient attentive and passionate about infant care early childhood development and building strong relationships with young children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Lead Teacher with daily infant care routines including feeding diapering soothing and rest schedules.
Provide a warm and responsive environment that supports infants individual needs and routines.
Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory language and developmental activities.
Observe and respond to infants cues behaviors and developmental milestones.
Maintain a safe clean and organized classroom environment.
Support classroom routines transitions and daily activities.
Assist with preparing learning materials and maintaining classroom organization.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with teachers and staff.
Follow all health safety and licensing guidelines.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience working with infants or young children in a childcare setting preferred.
Understanding of basic infant care and early childhood development.
Strong communication teamwork and organizational skills.
Patient reliable and attentive to childrens needs.
Preferred Skills
Experience in an infant classroom childcare center or early learning environment.
Knowledge of responsive caregiving and infant development.
Ability to create a calm nurturing and consistent environment.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
