If you like fast-paced environments that empower you to truly be the owner of your business we would love to hear from you!The Awesome ThingsYoullDoDRIVE FOR RESULTSOperate in accordance with the established hours of business and is properly staffedControl and minimize store expensesRecommend ways to increase sales efficiencyDevelop and expand local donor baseEnsure excellent customer relations are maintained including training employees to greet thank or converse with customers and donors monitoring their performanceOPERATIONSMaintain a supply of cash and change sufficient to meet daily business needsEnsure that general conditions of store meet high standards at all timesEnsure that the premises are always safe for customers and employeesEnsure that employees have been trained in and are complying with security policies and proceduresEstablish and monitor sound cash- handling procedures consistent with company policyEnsure timely bank deposits either personally or by higher managementMaintain excellent cleanliness of the store including restrooms donation center and back roomEnsure safety and security of store assets and premisesEstablish and monitor sound cash-handling procedures consistent with company policyPrepare review approve and/or submit sales reports invoices donor logs cash reports petty cash requests etc. as requiredProcess price tag hang and display merchandise to maximize salesTeam ManagementEnsure performance standards and goals are met regularlySchedule interviews and recommend hiring of store employeesConduct initial training recurrent training or training in new skills policies or proceduresEnsure that employees accurately and properly record all hours workedAssist store manager with employee performance evaluation and discussionAssist store manager to manage staff compensation and incentivesResponsible for payroll reconciliation in the absence of the Store and conduct periodic store-employee meetings to discuss new matters or particular problemsEnforce all personnel loss prevention and operational policies and proceduresOur Must HavesSome college preferred. High school diploma GED equivalency required or its equivalent in courses of business or marketingUndergone two (2) years of supervisory experience and two (2) years of retail experienceMust be proficient in Microsoft suite and ability to adapt to internal interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to push/pull up to have open availability and able to work holidays.
