The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in the planning and execution of a commercial fire station renovation project. This individual will assist with project coordination scheduling subcontractor communication documentation and day-to-day project administration to help ensure the project is completed safely on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is organized detail-oriented and looking to grow their career in commercial construction management.

This is a Contract to Possible Permanent position that will require being fully on-site in Arlington VA.

Salary: $50000$70000 (Depending on Experience)

Project Details

• Full demolition and renovation of an existing fire station
• Commercial/municipal construction project
• Approximately 12-month project duration
• Project scheduled to begin within the next few weeks

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager Project Engineer Project Coordinator or similar construction role
• Commercial construction experience required; renovation experience preferred
• Experience assisting with project schedules subcontractor coordination RFIs submittals and project documentation
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore Bluebeam MS Project or similar construction management software is a plus
• Ability to work closely with field personnel subcontractors and clients in a fast-paced construction environment
